The new Bond Girl to star alongside Daniel Craig in this year's bond film has been announced as 28-year-old Ukranian model-turned-actor Olga Kurylenko.

Kurylenko will play Camille in the 22nd film of the franchise. Her character, a dangerously alluring woman, challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of the betrayal he experienced at the hands of Vesper, last year's Bond Girl played by Eva Green, say producers.

Kurylenko recently co-starred opposite Timothy Olyphant in Hitman and opposite Elijah Wood in Paris, je t'aime.

Filming on the as-yet-untitled film has just started with Daniel Craig once again starring as the secret agent.

The latest Bond is due for release this November.
